Sustainability & Ethics
Burulu is a brand owned by two sisters based in London. We aim to make sustainable fashion available to everyone at a more affordable price, without compromising on quality.
Sustainability: At BURULU, we have made a conscious effort to keep our carbon emissions to a minimum. Our eco-friendly mailing bags are made with a degradable additive that starts to break down within weeks. Designed with a double glue line seal so they are reusable for returns. We include thank-you cards inside which are printed on wildflower seed paper. They are handmade, recycled and grow bee-friendly flowers, so you can plant and grow this at home!
Ethics: At BURULU, we source all our fabrics from dead-stock materials in the UK, to ensure that there is no additional waste made in the production of our swimwear. It has been important to us to ensure our whole supply chain is based in the UK so that we have been able to physically visit our production sites to ensure the quality of our fabrics, and the working environment of our manufacturers. We can confirm those working in our supply chain are paid ethically, with fair working hours and breaks.
